Guides for Etudes, Solos, and Basics
Arban
As we talk about in our lessons, Arban makes the player! Keep practicing week to week and work through the programs laid out by Maurice Andre and Michel Ricquer. When you’re having issues, remember to always go back to the beginning and check your time, intonation and articulation!
Clarke
I know Clarke can be the more irritating part of lessons. Why does it matter if I can play these scale patterns?! The idea behind my Clarke assignments goes far beyond the basic finger technique required to play these studies. Remember that your air traveling from note to note, making seamless and fluid transitions is always most important!
